Colorado's Air Quality Control Commission is having its May meeting in Grand Junction. There will be an opportunity for public comment on May 15th from noon to 1:30. The meeting will be at the Marriott Courtyard, 765 Horizon Drive. This will be a great opportunity to keep the issue of oil and gas front and center for the Air Commission, as well as to help educate some of the newer commissioners. It would be worthwhile for everyone who can make it to attend and provide some comment. Contact Matt at (970) 256-7650 for more information. |

The only public hearing on the draft Colorado Oil & Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC) rules will be in Grand Junction at the Two Rivers Convention Center starting at 8:30 am and going until 5:00 pm. We need to have as many people there as possible to support the rules and to ask for the rules to be strengthened. If passed, these regulations would be the most protective in the United States.
